There have been a lot of half truths and rumors regarding female pattern baldness and this have caused much concern among the leading experts in female pattern baldness. You have to understand first that female pattern baldness is caused by aging, hormones, and genetics. Some families do have in their family the tendency to go bald. There are also some creams and gels which can act as a female pattern baldness treatment. They are applied to the affected area and massaged. Surgery or hair transplant is another option but it should only be regarded as the last option.
